Project Background

Keter, a leading manufacturer and marketer of furniture and storage products for the home and garden, turned to Automation Yeruham to find an efficient and high-quality solution for lifting plastic panels used in warehouse production. The company needed a solution that could both lift and release the panels at several different points along the production line and adapt to subtle changes in the size and weight of the panels.

What is the solution that we have developed for the costumer?

The experts from the pneumatics unit recommended that the company integrate a KENOS-type vacuum gripper from PIAB into their factory’s robotic arm. The gripper was installed on top of the robotic arm and is designed to pick up the dedicated panels, transferring them from one station to another, including cutting, packaging, and subsequent stages of the production line.
