Project Background

An OEM company from the medical field has developed and manufactured an advanced medical simulator that includes a bed with a mannequin simulating an operation. The simulator is designed to allow surgeons and interns to practice catheterization and various medical procedures and in addition to practice surgeries before actually performing them. Automation Yeruham has been involved in the development of the simulator for several years and is an integral part of the final design. At some point, the company needed a solution – a modular structure that includes a linear drive system, which will allow precise and varied movement of the simulator bed according to changing needs.

What is the solution that we have developed for the costumer?

In accordance with the customer’s requirements, the team of engineers of Yeruham Automation worked together with the development team of that company, in planning and implementing an advanced technological solution.

A strong and stable profile structure that includes storage areas – to support the simulator and the propulsion system.

The profiles of our company are the basis that holds the simulator. In addition, we added storage drawers for all the equipment,

under the simulator, which is created from profiles and rails.

– Linear rails and linear axes – provide precise movement to the right and left.
– Telescopic rails – allow the bed to be raised and lowered according to different needs.
– Custom table made of 16 mm white trestle + white core – created uniquely for each simulator on a CNC machine
